Black Grenache

This is the most widely planted grape on the estate. It gives powerful, deeply coloured and generous wines of great quality with silky tannins and aromas of red berry fruit. We appreciate it for its great aromatic potential and its softly delicious character. It often forms the ‘backbone’ of our wines.
Grenache noir

Carignan

Carignan is a late ripening grape that gives intensely coloured, generous wines with moderate alcohol levels. Its aromatic palette with notes of cherry, raspberry, almond and prune evolves and complexifies over time.

Syrah

Syrah

Dark, peppery and well structured, Syrah has lots of character. It produces wines that are deep red with violet highlights, highly aromatic (violet and blackcurrant), with good alcohol levels. Both full-bodied and delicate, they have good ageing potential thanks to their superb tannin/acidity balance. Syrah is also rich in Resveratrol (antioxidant et anti-cancerogenic).
Mourvèdre

Mourvèdre

This variety of Spanish origin and strong personality produces full bodied, structured, tannic wines with excellent ageing potential. Dark in colour, it is characterised by aromas of pepper, black fruit, cinnamon and occasionally a touch of liquorice.

White Grenache

White Grenache gives structure and opulence to the wines, and can achieve high degrees of alcohol. It is an excellent variety for blending.
Grenache blanc

Marsanne

Marsanne gives powerful wines of average acidity with aromas of dried apricot or white peach, depending on the vintage, evolving to notes of dried fruit with age.
Marsanne
Roussanne

Roussanne

More aromatic than Marsanne, Roussanne produces refined, complex wines of great elegance with notes of apricot and white flowers such as hawthorn and honeysuckle.
Clairette

Clairette

Most certainly the oldest and most typically southern grape variety of the region, Clairette produces floral, low alcohol wines with good acidity.
Viognier

Viognier

Widespread in the region, this subtly fragrant grape offers potent aromas and good length. It produces refined and richly opulent white wines with yellow fruit such as mango, pear, peach, apricot and quince, and floral notes such as violet, iris and acacia, but also almond and toasted hazelnut.
